Glossop SNT - Armistice Day 2025

‘The 11th Hour of the 11th Day of the 11th Month’ 

Today at 11am on Norfolk Square, Glossop at the Cenotaph there was a short service -  this was held to honour and remember all those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.

'They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them'.

▪️ The Kohima Epitaph was recited - When you go home, tell them of us and say, For your tomorrow, we gave our today.

Attendees paused for the two-minute silence to pay their respects and reflect.
